I am interested in the modelling and the mathematical analysis of heterogeneities and congestion phenomena in fluids. My research concerns in particular the modelling of granular flows (avalanches, mud flows,...) and collective motion.

From the mathematical point of view, I am led to study nonlinear partial differential equations (Navier-Stokes or Euler-type systems). I am interested both in theoretical (existence of solutions, singular limits) and numerical (design of numerical schemes) issues.
